The Game

At this point it could still be many things. Ultimately what you choose to do is what the game will be for you. The game is only a framework for how you interact with others, autonomous systems, and the environment.

Resource, utility, demand, cooperation or conflict

Your ability to actualize in the game is proportional to the properties of your skills, chassis, and modules equipped. Each will enhance particular aspects of your ability to do a wider variety of activities, or do one activity with increasing efficiency.
These items are ultimately manufactured from resources found in the world that are obtained through different activities, requiring different skills/chassis/modules.
Resource generation is not infinite so there may incentive to compete or cooperate. In some areas, that competition could turn deadly.

Activities

Activities to get resources right now fall under 3 categories, each yielding a unique resource required to produce items.

Mining

Mining is the process by which players can obtain raw Ores which refine into Metals used in Item production. Mining requires a Ore Scanner module which when activated will reveal ore nodes in your vicinity. It is much simpler than Artifacting which is described later.

Artifacting

An archeological process by which players scan for "artifacts" which are used to produce Fabricator Plans. Plans are used to determine what the Fabricator will produce. The Artifact Scanner requires ammo, each of which customizes the scan resolution, power, range, and type. Artifact nodes are discovered only when enough scans with enough power converge on the node location. More detailed guides on this later - for now, the more scans you land on a single node the more likely you are to find it.

Combat

The world is filled with others like you, and unlike you. Other robotic platforms wandering the world in search of resources for themselves. Some may leave you be, others will not. Either way if you are properly equipped with weapons and ammo you can fight back. Should you defeat your opponents they will leave behind their wreckage in a neat box for you to pick up. Inside, among other things, will be Scraps which when Recycled will become Salvage - another necessary element to Item production.

Industry

As you may see, the above 3 activities happen out in the world, and when combined will give you the necessary materials to produce items.
Dock Facilities of various types are used to transform Raw Materials into Refined Materials which in turn are used in the Fabricator to produce Items.

Market

You may not be able to source all the materials you need yourself. For this you can turn to others via the Market! There you can buy what you need, or post orders yourself for others to sell to over time.
You may find you produce more than you need, or items you would rather sell to help fund other purchases. The market enables you to operate at any level of the supply chain easily.

So that's it?

Yeah geez that's all I built so far, get off my back dude.
