The Experiment
In the last blog I described the current state of the game and its core features. This blog I want to describe why - and its not what you think.
Its simply what I am interested in building - inspired by what I enjoyed playing. You might say the thing I build or like to play is "bad" or "dead game" or "won't have a broad appeal". And that is true, I lived through the death of many aforementioned bad games.
But I liked them. And others did too.
Their death is financial in nature. So the question remains, could we achieve a comparable experience without the need to require capital investment?
In other words:
Dirty deeds; done dirt cheap.
And its that simple dear reader, can I build something to approximate the enjoyment I got from these games for the low low cost of 100k lines of code*
?
We will find out together and that's why this is an experiment!

Its about 40k right now if you must know but this is not a valuable metric for complexity or level of effort. It also does not account for art other content not accounted for in source.
