Playing

Starting off

After creating an account and logging in, you will be "docked" with no robot, no equipment, just some starting funds and skill points.
Start by purchasing Basic equipment, they are cheap and available. All T1 goods are restocked over time.

Your first robot

Learning how to build your first robot is important.
Depending on what you want to do you may want purchase different equipment.

Different Activities

The world has resources to exploit, npcs and players to fight or trade with, and zones to explore! What you do is entirely your choice. Here are some common things to focus on. Feel free to pick one, or overtime do them all!

Mining

Mining is the process of finding ores and extracting them from the Zone. Ore Nodes are invisible to any robot without an active Ore Scanning module running. Be sure to equip this and activate it when looking for ores.
Using a Miner module and ammo, you can target the node and begin extraction. Selling the ores on the open market is a quick way to earn currency and fund your next move!

Artifacting

Much like mining, you must scan down artifacts. However the scanner and ammo it requires is much more complex. Each ammo will put down a probe, capable of some range and quality of detection. It will take multiple overlapping scans to reveal most artifact nodes.
Otherwise the process is similar to mining once the node is revealed.

PVE Combat

You may choose a more confrontational profession where you attack other robots minding their own business, looting their wrecks for precious Scraps. These scraps are another valuable raw resource to be sold.

Industry

You may choose to utilize the resources obtained by yourself or others via the market and make something useful! Using the various industrial Facilities available at most Docks, you can refine and produce end-user items like ammo, modules, and robotic Chassis. These will be even more valuable to sell to others on the market.
